The zoning official has the discretionary authority to issue a special use permit
for any temporary use in any district when such temporary use is not otherwise provided
for in schedule 1, use regulations, of section 50-676. No temporary use may be allowed, and no temporary use permit may be issued, for
more than 30 days. Provided, however, that asphalt plants and concrete batch plants
required for construction of an approved or permitted use may be granted a temporary
use permit to extend through the completion of construction of the approved or permitted
use for which the asphalt plant or concrete batch plant is required.
