§ 86-64. Uses of economic development fund.

  • Grants from the economic development fund may be made for the purposes of, among other things, inducing additional investment through a new location or expansion of any business within the county; speculative construction within the county; bringing additional payrolls to supplement the present county economy; inducing additional investment or job creation in agricultural operation or business in the county; and promoting and fostering the economic development of the county at the board's discretion without the necessity of an application. Such uses and purposes are hereby declared to be county purposes.
