§ 78-106. Method of collection.

(a)

The EMS tax assessment authorized by this article and F.S. § 125.271 may be collected by any method authorized by law, including, but not limited to, the uniform method provided in the Uniform Assessment Collection Act or the alternative method of collection provided in section 78-107 of this article.

(b)

If the county elects to utilize the Uniform Assessment Collection Act, the county shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Uniform Assessment Collection Act. Any hearing or notice required by this article may be combined with any other hearing or notice required by the Uniform Assessment Collection Act or other provision of law.
