  • (a)

    (b)

There shall be no salvaging by citizens or the general public at any landfill site in the county owned and operated by the board of county commissioners. The only exception to the prohibition of salvaging operations at county landfill sites shall be that the board of county commissioners may specifically authorize and contract with the person or persons appointed as a county landfill site caretaker to authorize and allow that person or persons to have the salvage rights to that particular county landfill site. This right shall exist only so long as that person is employed by the board of county commissioners in the capacity as a county landfill site caretaker.
