§ 54-1. Chief correctional officer.

  • Pursuant to F.S. § 951.061 the county sheriff shall be and is hereby designated as the chief correctional officer of the correctional system for the county. The county sheriff assumed the duties as chief correctional officer as of January 1, 1993, and this section shall relate back to that date.
