When a single-family residence is being considered as a special exception use, a single-family
residence must be preceded by, or approved simultaneously with, a permitted use.
(b)
When a single-family residence is being considered as a special exception use, the
board of county commissioners will ensure that the single-family residence is located
the maximum possible distance away from any adjoining commercial land use or zone
while allowing a reasonable use of the premises. If approval would create a conflict
between land uses, the residential use will be denied.
