§ 50-742. Schools.

The following provisions apply to schools:

(1)

A site plan shall be submitted as provided in section 50-775.

(2)

Direct access onto a collector or arterial road, as designated by the traffic circulation element of the county comprehensive plan, shall be required.

(3)

The minimum lot size shall be five acres, with a minimum highway frontage of 200 feet.

(4)

All off-street parking areas shall be paved.

(5)

Where a side yard abuts a residential zoning district, the required width shall be a 40-foot minimum.

(6)

A minimum of 49 percent of the gross land area shall remain in permanent open space (no structures or parking).

(7)

Crosswalks and caution signals shall be provided on each street frontage.

(8)

All driveways shall be paved.

(9)

Ingress and egress points shall be:

a.

Limited to two curb cuts per highway.

b.

No closer than 200 feet from each other or any intersection.
