§ 50-460. Off-premises advertising.

  • It is the intent of this article to allow very limited off-premises advertising, limited to urbanizing areas as a means of assisting local businesses with promoting their locations and services. Off-premises signs will be limited in location to within those municipal service district boundaries adopted as part of the county future land use map series. The maximum area of each single face is 96 square feet. Each sign may have a maximum of three faces. Spacing between signs will be limited to state guidelines on the state highway system, with a state permit required. On county roads, signs will be spaced no closer than every 1,000 feet.
