§ 18-31. Taxi service; air tours.

  • (a)

    The taxi service servicing the George T. Lewis Airport as of March 22, 1994, shall be allowed to continue that service.

    (b)

    The "air tours" service shall be allowed to continue provided, however, customers of the air tours shall be transported to the airport by the taxi service and shall not drive their automobiles to the airport thereby creating additional parking and traffic problems.

    (c)

    All other commercial ventures utilizing the airport as a base of operations, including but not limited to food vendors, boat rides and retail sales, shall be prohibited.

    (d)

    Except as otherwise provided in this section, all commercial ventures conducted at the George T. Lewis Airport, including, but not limited to, the selling of airplane rides and air tours, are hereby prohibited.
